F2 Department Colleagues Highly Successful in the ARIS Public Call

In this year’s call of the Slovenian Research and Innovation Agency (ARIS), our department’s researchers secured funding for five project proposals. With the exception of one case (the two-year postdoctoral project of Dr Andreja Šestan Zavašnik) all projects are funded for a three-year period. In addition to Andreja, the project leaders are Dr Primož Pelicon, Dr Miha Mihovilovič, Dr Matjaž Kavčič, and Dr Primož Vavpetič. The approved projects have been selected for funding starting from 1 March 2026. Congratulations!

F2 Department Colleagues Highly Successful in the ARIS Public Call

In the annual call of the Slovenian Research and Innovation Agency (ARIS), colleagues from our department were successful with as many as five project proposals.

The Accelerator Upgrade is in its Final Phase

After the New Year break, the new accelerator has been fully assembled and successfully tested up to 3 MV, is now in the final phase of calibration and integration into the control system, with the first test proton beam expected by the end of next week and regular operation planned before the end of January.
