Cooperation with customers and complaints (in Slovenian language)
We have started to implement quality system based on the standard EN 45001 to the daily work of the laboratory already in 1995. As the ISO/IEC 17025 standard (General Requirements for the Competence of Testing and Calibration Laboratories) came into operation in 1999 we reorganized our work according to this standard.
In August 2001 we applied at Slovenian accreditation for the accreditation of main activities in 2 laboratories:
Laboratory for radioactivity measurements (LMR) for laboratory measurements of activities of gamma-ray and x-ray emitters in cylindrical homogenous samples with high-resolution gamma-ray spectrometry and
Laboratory for dosimetry standards (NDS) for calibrations of different kinds of radiation protection instruments (dose / dose rate monitors, contamination monitors).
We successfully passed assessment visit and we gained accreditation in March 2003.
In 2004 we applied for extension of accreditation scope for activities in Laboratory for thermolumiscent dosimetry (TLD) - for personal and environmental thermoluminiscence dosimetry. We received the extended accreditation scope in July 2005.
Additionally, in 2006 we applied for extension of accreditation scope for activities in Ecological laboratory with mobile unit (ELME) - for measurement of dose rate and surface contamination with portable survey instruments. We received the extended accreditation scope in March 2007. In year 2010 laboratory and field measurements of gamma-ray emitters were added to the scope of accreditation of ELME.
In 2008 we applied for extension of accreditation scope for activities in Laboratory for liquid scintillation spectrometry (LSC) - for determination of tritium in water and urine samples with direct method and with electrolytical enrichment. We received the extended accreditation scope in October 2008.
In January 2015 the accreditation scope was extended to the liquid scintillation spectrometry for determination of the total activity of α and β emitters in water with direct method and method of concentrating.
