Third Week of Intensive Work on the Ion Accelerator Upgrade

We are closely monitoring the upgrade of the Tandem accelerator. The ion sources, the new accelerating tube, and the new high-energy magnet are now aligned, and the beamlines are already in vacuum. The installation of the high-voltage power supply is nearing completion, and in parallel, the control-system software is being upgraded. So far, the entire upgrade process is proceeding exactly as planned, in excellent cooperation between our in-house team and the supplier’s experts. A few photos from today are attached.
