Prestigious award for pedagogical work

Dr Klemen Bučar received the Marjan Jerman Award as the best assistant at the Department of Physics at the Faculty of Mathematics and Physics, University of Ljubljana. The award was presented by the faculty for the first time this year in memory of the excellent assistant dr. Marjan Jerman, who passed away in 2020. In assessing the pedagogical work, the commission took into account the level of knowledge, comprehensibility of interpretation and relevance of selected cases, efforts to bring more difficult material closer to all students, willingness to further explanations, encouragement to cooperate, motivation to work, correctness and accuracy in knowledge tests, accessibility and responsiveness outside of direct instruction, and honest and respectful attitude towards students. Dr Bučar received the award for excellent long-term management of the Practicum in the first year of studying physics. Congratulations!
