Matevž Skobe

Matevž Skobe started working at the Microanalytical Infrastructure Centre in 2019 while still studying. Since he has been working as a beamlines, vacuum systems, and detection systems designer. He is involved in 3D printing, technical documentation preparation and communication with Institute’s workshops. Currently, he is designing new nanobeam beamline. In 2021 he developed a system of a fast ion detection for his bachelor thesis on MIC under the supervision of an assoc. prof. dr. Matjaž Vencelj. After the graduation he started working as an accelerator operator.
