Production of isolated NV centres in diamond substrates using ion implantation

Nitrogen – vacancy (NV) centres in diamond are a useful model for quantum objects interactions investigation and a suitable candidate in developing new quantum technologies, especially quantum computing. The goeal of this project is to develop and explore a deterministic implantation method to inject nitrogen ions into a diamond substrate and with that producing NV centres in our laboratory.
