Our tandetron accelerator presented to a special public in Spain
Our colleague Esther Punzon Quijorna received a special initiative from her home country. She made a short video clip about the accelerator, adjusted to kids of age between 3 and 6. The children from the Public School San Antonio, Yeles (Toledo), Spain found the video very interesting as well as the discussion that followed.
Publication in Plant Physiology
Together with collaborators from the University of Nottingham, University of Reading, James Hutton Institute, Technical University of Munich, Rothamsted Research, John Innes Centre, Southern Cross University, King Saud University in University of Ljubljana we published an article entitled ˮMagnesium and calcium overaccumulate in the leaves of a schengen3 mutant of Brassica rapaˮ.
Important achievement - our research project approved by the EUROfusion consortium
The General Assembly of the EUROfusion awarded 16 out of 72 Enabling Research Projects in its 2021-23 work programme. The project "Detection of defects and hydrogen by ion beam analysis in channeling mode for fusion", led by Doc. Dr Sabina Markelj from our department, was selected in the Materials research category.
