The Workshop on Industrial Applications of Ion Beam Technologies

Technology transfer activities, innovation potential and applications were presented by innovation managers and scientists from three institutes (RBI, Atomki and JSI) within RADIATE project. The workshop program was enriched with presentations from commercial companies that collaborate closely with institutes as well as with an overview of the innovation management methods at HZDR, where the innovation management culture is being cultivated for years. The presentations were followed by a lively discussion, focusing on some interesting applications that could be performed on Ion Beam Accelerators, e.g. radiation hardness testing. The workshop was organized by Dr Johan Meersschaut from IMEC. The activities from JSI were presented by Dr Esther Punzon Quijorna, Assoc. Prof. Dr Matjaž Vencelj, Dr Toni Petrovič and Andrej Košiček.
